The 'T' Day

Its been exactly 10 years since i left my home to persue my higher education and building a career. I have become a guest in my own home in a way. Cant recall when was the last time i spent for than 2 weeks on stretch in my home.

Apart from this ,even in these 10 years i have been shifting places a lot. This has imparted 2 things on me:

  1. I have been able to develop a goods network of friends.
  2. I have been able to gain a lot of local geographic knowledge whether its language or religion.

But the flip side of hopping places frequently is... in due course of time you start becoming emotionally stoic in parting with very close friends of yours. In fact i myself was feeling this change in me but i got an eye opener recently when a colleague of mine told me that i doesnt look to be sad in leaving Mumbai(Iam being TRANSFERRED to Blore) and such a good circle.

Later in the day i thought she was spot on to a large extent.
